This Privacy Policy describes how Mijuka System AB ("we," "our," or "us")
collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Scorekeeper
app (the "App") - whether on Android, Android TV, or the web. It applies
to every version of the App listed above. We are committed to protecting
your privacy.

## What Scorekeeper Does

Scorekeeper lets a group of players track scores for a board game session
in real time. One player creates a game and gets a short join code and QR
code; other players join with it, and everyone's device stays in sync as
scores are recorded round by round.

## Information We Collect

### Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your real name, email address, or phone number
- We do not collect location data
- We do not use advertising or analytics tracking technologies
- We do not access your photos, contacts, or other files on your device
- We do not require you to create an account with a password

### Information We Do Collect
- **Nickname**: a display name you choose (it can be anything - it is
  not verified and is not required to be your real name)
- **Device ID**: when you first open the App, we generate a random
  identifier stored on your device to recognize it on future visits.
  It is not derived from any personal information and cannot be used to
  identify you outside the App
- **Game data**: the games you create or join, the players in them, and
  the scores recorded each round, so every participant's device can show
  the same up-to-date scoreboard
- **Standard server logs**: like most web services, our server
  automatically logs basic technical request information (e.g. which API
  endpoint was called and how long it took) to operate and troubleshoot
  the service. These logs are not used to build a profile of you

## How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to:
- Run the game itself - creating/joining games, keeping every
  participant's scoreboard in sync in real time
- Let you correct a nickname or a recorded score
- Generate the shareable result image when a game finishes, if you
  choose to share it
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service

## Data Storage and Security

- Game data (players, scores, nicknames) is stored on our servers so
  that every device in a game sees the same live state
- The Android app also keeps a local copy of games it has seen, so play
  can continue offline; this stays on your device and is removed if you
  uninstall the App
- Your device's identifier is the only thing linking you to your data -
  we do not ask for or store any other way to identify you
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own
  purposes

## Third-Party Services

- Scorekeeper does not integrate with any social media platform, ad
  network, or analytics service
- The App's "Share" feature hands off to your device's own native share
  sheet (e.g. to send a link or an image to a messaging app) - that is
  entirely your own device's functionality, and whatever app you choose
  to share to is responsible for what it then does with that content
- We do not use any third-party tracking SDKs

## Children's Privacy

- The App does not collect personal information and does not require
  account creation - only an optional, freely-chosen nickname
- There is no chat or messaging between users within the App itself
- The App contains no inappropriate content and is suitable for all ages

## Your Rights and Choices

- You can change your nickname at any time from within the App
- You can request deletion of your data at any time - see our
  [Data Deletion instructions](/data-delete.txt) or contact us directly
  at the email below
- Game data that goes untouched for an extended period is automatically
  purged from our servers (see the Data Deletion page for details)

## Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes
will update the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review it
periodically.
